TalkR3hab Writing anything – be it stories or poetry – can be a therapeutic way for someone in recovery to understand their emotions and feelings as they try to sort out everything they are going through.
There are many excellent poems for Alcoholism and Addiction that have been written – some that cover the pain addiction puts you through, others talk about sober life – some are funny, some are sad.
If you know someone who is going through alcohol recovery, or are interested in seeing how others have coped with alcoholism and addiction, these poems on everything from alcohol to drug abuse may be of interest to you. You can get them cheaply over at Amazon, or check them out from your local library.
