  1. Peter Wolczuk says:

    An addict came to a meeting
    And said that he was new
    He said that he’d met____
    Who’d told him what to do
    “Does anyone know ____, my friend?”
    But everyone shook their head
    Yet someone said, “We all knew him once,
    Before he relapsed and ended up dead.
    And every year on the day after the one
    That an overdose took him away;
    A newcomer appears at this meeting
    And says that they met him yesterday.”
