Although I believe in many alternative approaches to healing, I have to agree that alternative remedies are not very useful as the primary weapon in a personal fight for sobriety.  It is true that some forms of alternative therapy and meditative strategies can be usefully applied as an adjunct to more traditional treatment programs.  But, any attempt to replace a rigorous, monitored detox with alternative healing is risky.</description>

		<description>There are many programs for helping alcoholics, more than ever. I believe there is enough support around now for anyone who really wants to give up to be able to. Although it can be very tough I am sure.</description>
