I am actually a college student and sometimes walking to class they have people giving surveys and talking about binge drinking. It's surprising how many people binge drink.

The definition of binge drinking is drinking alot of alcohol it a short period of time. The consensus is 5 drinks in 2 hours for guys and 4 drinks in 2 hours for girls.

If you think about it anyone that drinks to the point of getting drunk has to binge drink. So, the stats for binge drinking are pretty useless. If you have to binge drink to get drunk of course a binge drinker is more likely to drive drunk, for example:

A 180lb person that drinks 5 light beers in 2 hours is calculated to have a BAC of .06 so a person has to binge drink to get a dui in the first place.
